YOUR FAMILY. YOUR MEMORIES.

Terms of Service and community guidelines

Last updated: 5 October 2026

OnceLittle is a private place for family memories. These terms explain the rules for using the app and website, including the content you share with your family.

1. Service and account

OnceLittle helps adults create a private family history: photos, videos, recordings, notes, albums, milestones, measurements, interviews, time capsules and reminders. A child’s profile is part of that history, not a separate child account. The app is not a medical record or a childcare service.

Before registering or signing in, read these terms and the privacy policy and select the acceptance checkbox. This also applies to Google and Apple sign-in. Creating an account after accepting these terms establishes an agreement to use the service for an indefinite period. These terms are available without signing in and can be saved or printed.

Provide accurate account details, protect your password and device, and do not share your session with others. Report suspected unauthorised access to the operator.

2. Using the app

You need a supported device and an up-to-date app or browser. Sign-in, synchronisation, invitations and purchases require an internet connection. Some saved data is available offline; changes must be synchronised to reach the family copy. Install available updates and keep your own copies of important memories.

Camera, photo, microphone and notification access depends on the feature you choose and your device permissions. Reminders depend on system settings and should not be your only safeguard for important dates. Features and limits depend on your plan and are shown in the app.

3. Children, family and content rights

Add a child’s information as a parent or guardian authorised to decide how it is shared. You must have the necessary authority to add content about other people and respect their privacy, image rights and copyright.

Memories are available to invited family members according to their assigned roles. Check invitation recipients and permissions. Recipients may keep their own copies outside the app.

You retain the rights to your content. You grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, technically copy, process and display it only as needed to provide your chosen features and for the time necessary for that purpose.

4. Prohibited content and abuse

We do not tolerate objectionable content, harassment or abusive behaviour, including within private family spaces. In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • illegal content, threats, intimidation, discrimination and hate speech;
  • pornography, child sexual exploitation or abuse, and material promoting violence;
  • violations of privacy, image rights or copyright, and sharing someone else’s information without authority;
  • impersonation, spam, fraud, malware, bypassing security and attempts to gain unauthorised access.

Violations may result in content removal, restricted access or account suspension. Our action will reflect the nature of the violation, the safety risk and our legal obligations.

5. Reports and explanations

Report abuse, unsafe content or rights violations to hello@oncelittle.com. Identify the content or account, explain the issue and provide contact details for a response. Do not send passwords or redistribute the reported material.

We review reports and take appropriate action without undue delay. Where possible and lawful, we will explain the reason for a restriction to the person concerned and allow them to provide an explanation through the same contact address.

6. Free plan and PRO

The app offers a free plan and paid PRO features. The scope, price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Mobile payments are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play under the terms displayed by the store.

Manage your subscription and its renewal in the relevant store. Deleting your account or the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Refunds and withdrawal from a purchase are handled by the seller identified in the purchase confirmation, without affecting statutory consumer rights.

7. Ending use and your data

You can stop using the service and delete your account in the app settings or request deletion by email. Save any memories you need and check your subscriptions before deletion. Shared history may remain with other family members.

The privacy policy explains data processing, retention, deletion and individuals’ rights.

8. Complaints and liability

Send service issues and complaints to the contact address, including a description, the date of the problem and your preferred resolution. We respond within the time limits required by applicable law. Do not send your password.

These terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights, including rights concerning service conformity, complaints and withdrawal from a contract. The operator’s liability is governed by applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

Changes in law, features or security requirements may require updates to these terms. We publish the current version here with its date. We will give appropriate advance notice in the app or by email of material changes affecting your rights or obligations. If you do not accept the changes, you may stop using the service without affecting your statutory rights.
