YOUR ACCOUNT. YOUR DECISION.
Delete your OnceLittle account
You can request permanent deletion of your account and associated data by email. You do not need to sign in or reinstall the app.
How to request account deletion
- Send an email with the subject “OnceLittle — account deletion request”. If possible, send it from the email address associated with your account.
- Include your account email address and sign-in method: email and password, Google or Apple. If Apple hides your email, include the relay address associated with OnceLittle if you know it.
- We will acknowledge your request and explain the next steps and expected completion time. Before deleting the account, we may ask you to confirm that it belongs to you. We will email you when deletion is complete.
Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or identity document photos. If you no longer have access to your account email address, explain this in your request so we can arrange verification.
If you still use the app, you can also choose “Delete account” in its settings.
What will be deleted
- Account data: your email address, name, stored password hash, family membership, sessions, and Google and Apple sign-in associations. Your account will stop working on all devices.
- If you are the last family member: the family story will also be deleted, including child profiles, memories, albums, measurements, interviews, time capsules, reminders, invitations, and photos, videos and recordings stored by OnceLittle.
Deletion is permanent. Save any memories you need before requesting it. Deleting your OnceLittle account does not delete your Google or Apple account.
What may remain and for how long
- Shared family story: if other family members remain, memories and files stay available to them until the content is deleted or the family space is closed. We remove the author association with your account. If content still includes your personal data or a child’s data, identify it in your request so we can review its deletion.
- Files awaiting deletion: if storage is temporarily unavailable, we retry deletion. Files remain queued until deletion succeeds.
- Technical and legally required records: these may be retained for the time needed to handle an incident, resolve a request or protect legal claims; legally required records are retained for the period required by law. Our response will explain any exceptions affecting your request and their retention periods.
- Copies outside the service: exports and copies saved on your devices or other people’s devices need to be deleted separately.
See our privacy policy for more information about data processing.
Subscriptions and uninstalling the app
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in Google Play or the App Store to stop future renewals. Describe any difficulties in your deletion request.
Uninstalling the app or disconnecting Google or Apple sign-in does not delete your OnceLittle account or cloud data.
